Say cheese! This year’s Caerphilly Cheese Festival promises to pack a BIG punch!
On Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September, the Caerphilly Cheese Festival will take place in Caerphilly town centre, forming a music event with a number of music areas throughout Cardiff Road and Castle Court Shopping Centre, as well as a central stage in Twyn Car Park. The event will be host to local and headline musicians along with numerous food and drink stalls. There will also be workshops, craft sessions and a selection of funfair rides.

Rail replacement buses are scheduled to run on the Rhymney line on Saturday 31st August & Sunday 1st September, which may affect your journey to and from the Caerphilly Cheese Festival.
Please be aware of any changes to public transport timetables due to this and allow for extra time when making your journey or arrange alternative travel if necessary.

Yes, you read that right – we have two giant food halls booked for this year’s Caerphilly Cheese Festival! Serving as host to 40 amazing food and drink traders, you’ll be able to find the marquees at the rear of Caerphilly Castle.
